I have always been very motivated towards fitness, and I like to be active as much as possible. I am in general, a very healthy and athletic person, and I am thinking that I might be able to parlay that into becoming a personal trainer. It really seems like a natural sort of job for me to try to get into, especially if it pays well. I want to learn more about it, and I am hoping that I can find some info about personal trainer courses that you can take in order to learn how to properly be a personal trainer.
I wonder if there is some sort of certification that you can get in order to show that you know what you are doing. I feel like that would make it much more likely that I could get clients to use me as their own personal trainer. I feel like I have a strong knowledge of fitness and nutrition already. I took a few sports science classes and sports medicine classes during college as part of the free electives I got to choose with my degree path. I hope to put that knowledge to good use, since I am currently between jobs, and this seems like it could be a good opportunity for me to pursue. I need to find out more about how much money personal trainers make in general. I bet it depends a lot, and that it is also based on reputation. Maybe I can call some personal trainers in the area, and ask them about what it takes to be a personal trainer.
